Meet Blake (Agency Owner)

Not everyone cares about this. Not everyone believes in God. Not everyone wants to know what I believe. This isn’t here to convert you, even if I think it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

However, everyone does want to know how much you care. This is here so you know what my metric for morals are. I know Christians have a bad wrap, but if you look at Scripture, you’ll realize that Jesus was kind, compassionate, zealous, gentle, above reproach, and more. 

These hallmarks of being what we call “Christlike” are the things I aim for in every sector of life. I’m by no means perfect. However, I have found that when people have something “bigger” than themselves to live for, they typically do better, work harder, etc.

I am husband to my beautiful wife Ashton. Together we have two stunning kids. Ashton and I met in ministry school and I still remember the first day I saw her. “Why is she so happy and excited” I said to myself walking in the front doors. Who would’ve thought years later, we’d be building a life together. Before being a Father, I am a husband. And before that, I am a follower of Christ.

I am father to my two kids Eli & Leighton. I love the opportunity and blessing I have to be present with my children due to working remote. I am passionate about creating a better life for them and being present along the way. 

I started this agency out of a growing awareness (that led to a growing concern) of how low-touch agency experiences can be for people. I have had the privilege of working with amazing clients who were on the hook with an agency, with minimal results, for months on end with large retainer-based contracts.

This led to a diluted marketing experience that was laden with frustration, disappointment, and drained their bank. Enter Advocate. The deepest joy I have found in business is when, like Jesus, I get to advocate for those who don’t know any better. Every client story was the same and most of the tipping point was the lack of client education coming from the agency side and the lack of learning material and time from the client.

The benefit of having in-house specialists and being the front-runner of strategy is that I can control pricing and offer way more affordable services that aren’t diluted by sales tactics or lack of experience. While making money pays the bills, I take more pride in delivering a product that converts.

This is why I don’t string people along or hold them on long contracts with little to no results. Services are on a month-to-month basis, quit anytime. Don’t like the results? I’ll happily give you my thoughts on the next best steps! 

I have had the privilege of working across many niches. Real estate, custom window treatments, air compressor stores, influencers, perfume, jewelry, construction, roofing, industrial painting, and more! I haven’t “cornered” a market. I honestly don’t know that many agencies do successfully. However, I do have a lot of experience with many different types of businesses. I feel as though this gives me an edge to look outside of what is apparent or obvious. I also sometimes have experience in parallel verticals to companies I work with. 

I don’t sell services that I don’t have a great understanding of. If I do, I will be 1000% transparent. I am very proficient in conversion tracking, Google ads, Google Analytics, and anything else google. I am proficient in Meta/IG Ads and tracking as well–though it’s not my favorite. I prefer quality over quantity. 

I’m zealous for reform in the marketing sector. There are too many agencies that I’ve worked for, that I know of, or that audit my client’s accounts (when clients get a little antsy) that are all smokescreens and mirrors. 

They offer templated responses, minimal feedback, hide behind lingo, and pull out spreadsheets and metrics that they can’t “prove” until you are $6k in the hole on a 3-month contract with no way out. Only to leave the people without anything but a bigger bill.

Ironically, I have had clients come back to me after trying out agencies. I don’t think I’m “better.” However, I do follow best practices and remain up to speed on industry standards. Some of my return customers have even broken records after agencies tanked my work. 

Do I think I have a monopoly? No. Do I think I’m the best? No. I’m honest, consistent, and have Integrity. My “secret sauce” is that I value transparency and feedback.
